1920s Floral & Golden Lamé Bar Shoes by Babers
Stunning mid 20s bar shoe with a long pointed toe and 2.5 inch Louis heel. Made for Babers of Oxford Street but possibly sold at their Jersey branch. The fabric is a woven floral with swirly art deco flowers in muted shades. Golden metallic threads give it an all over lamé sheen. 3 chevron stappings at the sides form a cutout under the instep strap. Gilt buckles, textile upper, leather soles, textile and leather lining. Contemporary but not original box.
Very good condition, no flaws noted. (box lid tatty).
