1920s Gold Brocade Pumps by Gerrett UK
Evening one piece pumps in a stylish gold brocard featuring rose leaves, they have a 2.5 inch Louis heel and long pointed toe. Made of a single piece of fabric and decorated with a large oval rhinestone buckle. Made by Edward Gerrett & Co, Sloane St, Court Shoe Maker. Textile upper, leather soles and, unusually for this era, full leather lining.
Good condition, the piping along the upper edge was silk and has frayed. At least half of the rhinestones are replacements. (I think the original stones were too large for the bezel).
