Fantastic is a good word to describe these 1920s evening sandals made of silver and pink metallic ribbon and fabric. Based on continental summer sandals, adapted for evening wear. T bar style with a 2.75 Louis heel, leather soles and kid lining.
the toe is classic basket weave which has a plaited edge and extends to open ribbons and the sides. the ipper part of the quarters is also in the same loose ribbon style. the straps re plaited and fasten with a little silvered button. No label but has 16/9 stamped on the sole (the price).
Overall these are in very good condition, the only issue being that the heels and quarters have oxidised due to contact with glue, they were originally pink. Wearable with care.
