Absolutely stunning wine velvet 'at home' or hostess shoes from London department store Debenham & Freebody. This high fronted open sides style with a peep toe had a brief moment at the top of the fashion tree around 1936-37. 2.5 inch Louis heel, edged with gold kid leather. Textile upper, textile and leather lining, leather soles.
