1930s Gold Brocade Evening Sandals by Delman
Beautiful evening sandals in gold and white brocade with an art deco flower and leaf pattern. Made in England by Rayne for the Delman shop on Bond Street in 1937 - see the advert for a very similar pair.
Peep toe with cutouts on the vamp which is gathred intoa a band of the same material. Sling and instep strap joining dipped sides with another teardrop shaped cutout. They fasten with gilt buckles with rhinestones. 3.5 inch Spanish heel. Textile upper, leather lining and soles.
Very good condition, probably worn once, if at all.
