Nice quality but well loved gold leather evening sandals with a knotted vamp and wide gathered heel strap. 2.75 inch Spanish heels. Slim instep strap with gilt buckle. Beautifully soft draped leather upper, Leather lining and soles.
Coincidentally the week after I bought these sandals I saw Claudette Colbert wearing an almost identical pair in Midnight (1939).
Fair to good condition, well worn with light rubbing to the gilt esp on the buckle strap.
