1940s Black Wedge Easy Goers with Multi Straps
An amazing shoe from the late 40s in Selby's Easy Goers range.
Black suede pumps with low wedge and rounded wall toe.
the upper has a line of poppers along the top edge and various straps and bows to ring the changes. Mabe the first day into evening pump?
There is a square bow with cut metal trim and a proper bow with golden studs. Each shoe has 3 elastic straps of different lengths which you can arrange in different patterns. There are 2 'empty' studs so you'd be able to make your own bow. And originally there were ankle straps but unfortunately only one has survived. Leather upper and soles, leather and canvas lining. Original Easy Goer replacement heels.
Very good condition, there are some marks and scrapes.
