1940s CC41 Airborne Pumps with Fancy Strap
Sweet round toe pumps with a chunky 2 inch heel in black suede. The vamp has half moon cut outs with dipped sides. A leather strap rises from the instep, crosses the foot and wraps around the ankle - purely decorative and highly fashionable in 1949. (see advert from Sept 1949). Leather soles and lining.
Very good possibly unworn condition, the soles have a few marks that suggest they may have been worn round the house. there is a tiny hole in the right heel - see pics.
