Bespoke 1940s Grey Platform Sandals
Stunning chunky platform sandals with an ankle strap and cupped toe. This pair of sandals were made to order in Malta. One strap is longer than the other suggesting an swollen leg. However, extra holes have been pierced indicating this was a temporary issue. The straps are intertwined and have a silver/chrome buckle. The vamp is an asymmetric arangement of 6 straps caught by a metal ring. The whole of the front has an upright piece of leather around the edge to protect the toes. A fabulous design. Half inch platform 3.75 inch chunky heel. Leather upper, lining and soles, no labels.
Very good condition, one tiny scuff on the left platform.
