Rare 1920s Shoes & Bag Set Yellow Floral Mary Janes
Deep golden yellow satin bar shoes trimmed with velvet flowers and matching velvet frame bag with a chain handle. Made in Czechoslovakia c 1920. The shoes have a pointed toe and 2.75 inch Louis heel. they fasten with a gilt and rhinestone button. the front has an arrangement of velvet flowers and black paper stamens. The velvet reticule has a similar flower arrangement with added satin ribbons. Gilt frame. The inside is cream trimmed with lemon and blue ribbon. Probanly custom dyed. Leather soles, cotton lining for the shoes.
Very good condition, worn once at a guess. Some fade and discolouration on the shoes and and area where the surface sheen has gone. the bag very good some light marks on the ribbon, inside very clean.
