Superb 30s 40s 50s Ladies Monk Shoes by Church's
These are heavy welted walking shoes with a 2 inch stacked heel and derby style upper with a buckled strap over a roomy toe. Hand made by Church's for Forsyths of Edninburgh they have probably tramped many moors as they came form an estate in Argyll. HArd to date but the construction suggests 30s or 40s. Leather upper and soles with a Philips rubber sole added. leather and textile lining.
Very good condition, moderate wear no obvious flaws.
